Bulbarrow Cottage is named after one of the magnificent downland hills which the farm overlooks. It has been carefully converted from a traditional l8th Century farm building to a holiday cottage of considerable character. This is where the shorthorn cows used to be milked. The entrance hall leads to a galleried lounge open to roof height, where the original roof trusses have been preserved. The attractive kitchen is well planned with oak units and a hob with separate oven. The ground floor bedroom has twin beds and a beamed ceiling. The bathroom, also with beamed ceiling, has bath, WC and overbath shower. An open pine staircase leads to a spacious galleried landing above the lounge.
A magnificent spacious twin bedroom, which was once the hay loft, boasts a beamed ceiling and wash basin. All the bedrooms are well furnished and feature soft colour schemes with matching curtains and duvets. There is a pretty, paved private garden where you can watch the comings and goings from the nearby working farm buildings.
Bulbarrow Cottage has enormous character yet is unobtrusively designed with disabled guests in mind and has featured in The Daily Mail.
